当代建筑结构设计行业中集成化的商业软件流行，不少结构工程师对结构分析原理毫不理解，昂贵的商业软件自身的封闭削弱了结构工程师的技术基础。结果懂设计的工程师不懂计算分析，懂计算分析的工程师又不懂设计。
我觉得这样的趋势不好，也不想成为这样偏科的工程师，所以发起了这个项目。一方面希望有能力的结构和软件工程师一起建造这个免费开源的计算平台，另一方面也督促自己不断学习进步。
The industry of building structure design nowadays is full of commercial integrated FEM software. Many structural engineers have no sence about principals of structural analysis, the closure of the expensive softwares weaken the knownage base of structural enginners, those who know design become stupid about analysis, and vise versa.
I don't think its a good trend, and I don't like to be such unbalanced engineer, so I start this project, hoping that I can build up a free and opensource platform together with engineers with capacity on github, meanwhile push myself to study and improve.
