This plugin offers CSV format for REST search responses.
It uses a REST endpoint _search_csv which is equivalent to REST endpoint _search except the result set format.
With the parameter keys you can optionally pass a string array with the field names to include in the rows.
Note, because of the JSON structure of documents, you might not always obtain regular tabular data.
It is recommended to use keys with field names that appear throughout the result set.
CSV values are escaped with quotes if they contain quotes or commas.
There are also boolean parameters with_index, with_type and with_id to add metadata into the CSV rows.
By using the fields attribute in the search, you can add internal ES fields to the CSV output, like _timestamp or _parent.
