Problem with Google Search – redirect problem

This solution maybe not the most correct way, but it worked out for me. So you can stop here and solve your problem.

While I was searching a software today, I got a virus from a malicious site by downloading a software and installing it. I realized I got a virus instead of the software I wanted, when I was always redirected to some other pages after clicking searching result-list from Google. I used firefox and then tried IE. It had the same problem.

I don’t understand why those sites are there and nobody take care of that. It should be illegal, and therefore be abandoned by some legal department or somethings like that. I searched a while and couldn’t fix the problem by deleting some files manually. I was also afraid of some new malicious software being installed, so I was very careful about the site. Anyway, I solve my problem finally. Here is how.

Download Spyware Doctor with Anti-Virus from google. Only select Spyware, and ignore all others if you don’t need any of them. After installation, run it and get a list of virus. If you want to fix the problem by clicking the Fix button, you will have to pay for that. I don’t want to do that, so I just right click the virus list, and then hit remove function. After that, I was good. This maybe not the most correct way to do it, but it worked out for me.

Try it. If this doesn’t solve your problem, please leave a reply here. I will find a solve ASAP, because I do want to solve this kind of problems. If you need your browser back to work immediately, you can use Chrome for now. Hope you get back to the sunny side of life soon………..:)
